I'm not really sure what I think of this book...it wasn't as good as Sarah's Key. You were sucked into this book by the premise of some big secret, something big enough to cause emotional distress and a car accident. But there wasn't anything. There was this ONE secret that is let out halfway through the book, then obsessed about for the rest of the book. And the whole second half of the book, you're expecting a little bit more of the secret to come out - to make it seem a little more important. But it never does. It's the whole secret and it's nothing. The characters all act weird and shady...over nothing. Sortof disappointing.
Still, the writing was good, the setting was described beautifully...it was a good book, just not a sordid, dark tale about some big secret kept.
