Coffee Bean Bookshelf

I'm a 32 year old mom of two who loves to read (obviously)! I'll read just about anything - if it sounds interesting, it makes it's way to my to-read pile!

Currently reading

How My Summer Went Up in Flames
Jennifer Salvato Doktorski
The Cuckoo's Calling
Robert Galbraith
Identical - Ellen Hopkins I'm not really sure what to think of this one. Again, I love the style of the free verse, it works well for the story. I loved that when one of the twins was finishing up, the other would pick up and the column of words on the side was exact.

The ending surprised me. I'd noticed things not adding up, little things, but I thought it was just the way that the author decided to write the book. Turns out it was - all leading up to the big finale. Which was...wow. I just didn't see it coming. But it explains so much.

I felt the very, very end was too easily wrapped up with the dad, mom and grandma. I don't think it would have been that easy in real life.
