Another book that I really enjoyed. I immensely liked the character of Alice, though I thought Riley could have been better developed. Paul seemed broken, and I hoped through the book that he'd figure out what was stopping him from allowing himself to be happy.
The story didn't really surprise me (though that was my fault, I accidentally read a spoiler while looking up possible discussion questions for my book group), though I found it entertaining and sometimes wished that things would work out differently in parts. But it didn't, which I guess made the story more believable...it wasn't all happily ever after, the characters had real problems and real misunderstandings to contend with.
