It's been a long time since I read anything in this genre...and reading this book made me wonder WHY I never seem to be in the mood for them. This book was really, really good...I enjoyed the characters (there were a lot to keep straight, though, and I did get confused about who was who a few times), the plot was interesting and seemed unique. It kept me guessing as to what the link was between the crimes committed 30 years apart, and who was involved. I definitely didn't see the end coming, but it did wrap up a bit to easily and not very realistically (in my opinion, but never having been in that situation, maybe it would be realistic in the actual event).
