I'm not a fan of zombies...honestly, if a book is about zombies, I usually put it back down and move on to the next book that catches my eye.

BUT

I really liked this book. I loved the idea behind the book - humans mess enough with life until we actually create zombies, and then society has to fend them off by living in villages encased by fences to keep the zombies out.

The only thing that disappointed me was that the Sisterhood and Guardians weren't explored more, there were secrets but most of it went unexplained. Still, I hope that the next book in the series continues to probe into the secrets that this book left untouched.
